Activating SIMs for StaRComm, EyeSite, & Stallion Infrastructure Services

Modified on Mon, 21 Apr, 2025 at 10:22 AM

Before you begin:

  • Make sure the asset name and ICCID are provided
  • If IMEI is needed (AT&T Unlimited activations), then use an IMEI associated with the asset (MST IMEI tab in the SIM Provision Template).
    • If the asset is not an MST, pick a random IMEI from the same tab.
  • Add SIM activation details to your tab in the SIM Provision Template.
  • All SIMs are activated with a public static IP address unless requested otherwise.
  • If you ever have to email a carrier, use your Stallion Infrastructure Services email address.

Verizon:

  • If the ICCID starts with 89148 then the carrier is going to be Verizon.
    • You can activate a 5G Verizon SIM in any of our Verizon accounts as long as it is not CAT-M1, ruggedized, or 4G only.
  • If you are activating a Verizon SIM on the IoT account, then make sure to transfer it to subaccount 9 once the activation has been processed when you are working on Eyesite tickets.
  • If you are activating an AT&T SIM on the IoT account, then you can process the order yourself instead of emailing the carrier.
  • Activate under an unlimited plan with a public static IP address plan unless directed otherwise.
    • For SIMs on the unlimited plan with a public static IP address, activate under “5G Bus Internet 100Mbps Static” ($69).
    • For SIMs on the unlimited plan with a public dynamic IPaddress activate under “5G BI 100MBPS DYN” ($69).

AT&T:

“Hello Sandra,

Please activate the following SIM with a public (static or dynamic) IP address, and name it (Asset Name).

ICCID: (ICCID)

IMEI: (IMEI)

(Signature).”

iNET:

“Hello,

Please activate the following SIM with a public static IP.

(ICCID)

(Signature)”
